Step into… new

I’ve been really enjoying a Ranger Ledger Journal that I picked up from Soul Paper a few months ago. I adore ledger papers but in my part of the world, its a bit tricky to find the real deal - antique ledger books for a reasonable price, so this is a fun alternative!

I started this journal with two things in mind - to revisit some favourite techniques that I enjoyed using in the past (over the past 10 or 15 years), which I have not used very often, and with the goal of creative play and experimentation. I plan to transfer some of my favourite designs (or concepts) onto canvas or wooden panel at some point. I’m also trying to work with a timeline - in other words, I don’t want to spend hours on a journal page or overwork the page. Quick. Simple. Fun. Meditative. Joyful. Imperfect.

I’m LOVING it so much as it feels like joyful freedom right now.
