The Creative Corner

My journey started with a spark of inspiration, a love for art, creativity and a passion for bringing the joy of creativity to the world. I create various types of art that resonate with people - evoking emotions, offering encouraging themes and sparking imaginations. Through my in-person and online courses, you’ll find your creativity ignited and your imagination sparking with ideas.

You don't have to consider yourself an artist or a creative for my in-person workshops or online classes. If you feel the pull to learn and create - then create - this content is for you! You'll find your way as I show you my methods, tips and suggestions.

Click on the buttons below to head to specific galleries to discover more information about a few of my favourite ways to create art.

Rock Art Painting

Did you know that you can paint on rocks?

I adore rock art painting and it is one of my most popular in-person workshops. There are multiple ways to paint on rocks but my favourite method involves paint pens, words and patterns using acrylic paint (with a brush) and acrylic paint pens!

Tag Art

It’s so fun to create on tags! You can use watercolours, stencils, acrylic paints and so much more on tags. You can showcase them, frame them, use them as bookmarks or you can gift them. You can even bind the tags into a book or clip them onto a ring.

On the small “canvas” of a tag, your creativity can shine. They may be small but they can deliver a wonderful impact!

Printmaking and Stamp Carving is one of my favourite things.

While I do not carve stamps often, I have built this skill over the past decade. I adore stamping and printmaking. Click on the button to learn more.

In-Person Art Classes

I enjoy painting and art supplies and consider myself a creative experimenter. Creative experimentation and painting feeds my soul. My in-person art classes reflect that! Sometimes I enjoy creating works on paper but at other times I’m painting on rocks, canvas or on panel (a wooden surface). In my art classes, you can follow my example or you can learn the techniques and follow your own creative inspiration.

The art in this gallery were created as in-person class examples or are pictures of class artwork. Click the button to discover art classes that I have offered in the past.
