A Beautiful Life

I was driving the other day and a song rose up in my heart as I thought about the good things that Jesus has done for myself and my family. This repeated phrase, “You make my life a beautiful, beautiful thing,” kept flowing through my mind and heart, inspiring me to sing along in worship and gratitude to God.

Although I do like singing, I do have a profound hearing loss and I am keenly aware that I don’t sing very well. Lol!! So I was thankful that no one but God could hear me! Ha ha ha. 😉

I decided to create a Bible Art Journaling page with my hand carved rubber stamps and my lettering, to help me to remember this moment and that incredible feeling of thankfulness that rose up inside my heart.

Just like with anyone else, there are times where I feel a bit down or where I need to encourage myself. At these times, I can look back at pages like this, remember those amazing moments and it lifts my heart. It helps me to refocus my heart on the things that I want to focus on and to win that battle to reclaim my joy.

This is just one more reason (of many) why Bible Art Journaling (also called Creative Worship, Faith Journaling and other terms like that) can be so rewarding and good for the heart. 💛
