Happy Mother’s Day!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted and I’ve a fair bit to up date you on, but first, let me just say “Happy Mother’s Day” to all Moms! I hope that you’ll feel celebrated and honoured today.

The month of April did not look anything close to what I expected it to look like. I found it hard to lay aside all of my lovely plans for this shop and space for a time but my husband had a stroke and he spent the entire month of April in the hospital. His home date was May 8th! We are so happy to have him back. Around that time I got a nasty flu/cold which wasn’t surprising as I was feeling quite exhausted by that point. So the week heading up to Mother’s day has been about rest, adjusting to having Dez at home again, learning what that looks like with his mobility issues (which are improving) and everything that comes with stroke recovery. I’ll explain more another time, but I decided today that it was time to get back to focusing more on my art and business (at least somewhat). I rather miss interacting with all of you. I want to celebrate Mother’s day with a sale!
