I was really delighted last month to find a brand of teas with no sulphites in it (sulphites are a common preservative) and I’m particularly enjoying the Lemon Ginger flavoured one. Each tea bag has a quote on the paper attached to the tea bag string and I’ve been collecting those quotes to see which ones I might want to use for artwork. I created this painting with watercolour and ink using one of those quotes. You can find inspiration in the most ordinary of places!
